Feona Sayles won the first 3 games on Saturday but lost the first game Sunday morning to Jan Khan to make the final round crucial and leaving it hanging in the balance.

Feona kept her cool and beat Karen Coombe from Wanganui 21/15 to take the New Zealand Singles Title.

Thanks to everyone who helped out whether it was before the Inter Club & Inter Centre or during. You all did a great job and there were many comments from bowlers all over New Zealand who were very impressed with the Northern hospitality!

The Manawatu Senior Mens Intercentre team won. Well done to Ray L and Stephen who were part of the team.

Carpet Court 2x4x2 Final Day
It was a lovely Autumn day for all those who were playing. The wind got up making for some interesting heads but a pretty good standard of play was seen on both greens. Everyone had the usual fun but were happy to be in the club house at the end of the 3rd game.
