Presentation Day - Sat 30 May 09
Presentation is getting closer. The Executive have put a great deal of effort into organising a great social evening.

The evening kicks off from 4.15pm with a happy hour then presentations follow from about 5.15pm. Dinner starts about 6.30pm then after a great spit roast meal the band will help burn off that yummy dinner and calories with music and dancing from 7.30 till about 11.30pm.

It's only $25 each for a great night out with a great bunch of people. Now where can you get such a great night out for only $25 each?
We will see you all there for a great night!

Please get your tickets from Chris, John Hayes or Doug. The executive need numbers by 15 May for catering purposes.

Notices of Motion, Remits and Resolutions for the Manawatu Bowling Centre AGM.
If you have a resolution or remit which you would like to be considered by the Centre at their upcoming AGM then please hand it in writing to Chris Quinn or myself by the end of next Sunday (April 26). Our Board of Management will consider all resolutions and remits received, and approve or otherwise their forwarding to the centre.

Presentation day
To confirm the details regarding our Presentation day which is to be held on Saturday May 30.

• 4:15pm – 5:15pm approx - Happy Hour
• 5:15pm – 6:15pm approx - Presentations of Badges, Cups etc for all championship winners
• 6:30pm approx - Dinner – Spit Roast prepared by Sideline catering. The meal consists of 3 roast meats, 6 hot veges and dessert.
• 7:30pm approx – 11:30pm Dance to the sounds of Rockwell who come to us very highly recommended.
  

The cost per person for this great night’s entertainment will be $25
Sign up sheets have been posted on the main notice board, and on the blackboard in the men’s locker area. For catering purposes we need to know final numbers by Friday May 15.
Please ensure that you have signed up by then. Tickets will be issued on payment which we would also like by the 15^th. These will be available from any member of the Management Committee.

Results - NZCT Singles

Feona Sayles won the first 3 games on Saturday but lost the first game Sunday morning to Jan Khan to make the final round crucial and leaving it hanging in the balance.

Feona kept her cool and beat Karen Coombe from Wanganui 21/15 to take the New Zealand Singles Title.
