Update 18th May 2012.

Saturday the 12^th of May 2012 was Closing day and prize giving for the 2011 – 2012 season.

Joy was presented with the Frank Fee Trophy for the member who promotes and contributes most to the Club. – Well done and deserved Joy!

Saturday the 12^th of May 2012 is Closing day for the season.

Details are:-

-          12th May 12:30pm.

-          Names in by Wednesday the 9th of May.

-          Dress, Whites or Club Colours.

-          Drawn Teams.

-          3 games of 1 hour duration.

-          Presentations/Awards from 4:30pm.

-          Followed by a Meal around 6pm @ $5 per head.

-           

-          It should be a good day and more or less the last chance to socialize with your fellow members, so don't delay. Get your names in before the 9th of May cut-off date.

-           

-          In saying that, don't forget the two other days we have scheduled in May after closing day.

-          13^th of May visit to the Wanganui East Club

-          26^th May the TeRaki Cup Challenge at Takaro.

Update 16th April 2012.

On Saturday the 14^th of April we held the INFRACON LTD -  In House - 2 x 4 x 2 – Handicap Pairs in almost perfect conditions.

Congratulation to the Winners, Joy Pearce and David Smith. Well done!

On the notice Board at the Club there are two away events being planned.

The 13^th of May the day after closing day, a trip away to the Wanganui East Club.

The 26^th May the TeRaki Cup Challenge at Takaro.

Numbers are limited for both these events so it would pay to get down to the Club and put your name up if you are interested.

Update 9^th April 2012.

The forecast was dicey but in the end the weather has co-operated and the Silvester/Clark Easter Triples have been completed.

Although a bit breezy at times on the first two days, yesterday the conditions were perfect.

The four Section Finals producing some very good bowling from all players. Congratulations to all who competed and helped to make this a very successful tournament and a special thanks to our sponsors for the event, Silvester/Clark.

Section 1 was won by Kevin Suisted and his Team.

Section 2 was won by Craig Gush and his Team.

Section 3 was won by Barry Wynks and his Team.

Section 4 was won by Robbie Robertson and his Team.

Congratulations to all the winners and the runner up teams.
