Update 21st of June 2012.

Just a quick update to let you know the new Structure of the Executive Board after the AGM held on Sunday.

Of Interest –

A new Subscription Fee regime was voted on and Adopted at the meeting after considerable discussion and debate.

The Mid Week Membership fee which was introduced last year has been discontinued with.

The need to make more use of our facilities throughout the year was raised and discussed. If you are aware of any Team, Group or Organisation who is looking for a home or a place to gather then please pass on their details to a member of the Executive.

I am sure you will hear more on the actual details of the meeting from the Executive Board in the near future. These are only a few of the topics discussed.

Update 1st of June 2012.
 A special meeting called by Bowls Manawatu last Sunday to discuss and vote on constitution changes seen as necessary to move the game forwards in the Manawatu was washed out due to being unable to raise a quorum.

As one of your delegates and a member of the executive, I was pretty much disappointed not to mention………
Well, I really can’t say it here but the first word starts with P and the last word is off!

Update 18th May 2012.

Saturday the 12th of May 2012 was Closing day and prize giving for the 2011 – 2012 season.
I have posted below a couple of photo's taken on the night.

Don’t forget!
-         26th May the TeRaki Cup Challenge at Takaro. The Entry sheet is on the board at the Club.

Joy was presented with the Frank Fee Trophy for the member who promotes and contributes most to the Club. – Well done and deserved Joy!

Update 24th April 2012.

Saturday the 12th of May 2012 is Closing day for the season.

Details are:-
-          12th May 12:30pm.
-          Names in by Wednesday the 9th of May.
-          Dress, Whites or Club Colours.
-          Drawn Teams.
-          3 games of 1 hour duration.
-          Presentations/Awards from 4:30pm.
-          Followed by a Meal around 6pm @ $5 per head.
-           
-          It should be a good day and more or less the last chance to socialize with your fellow members, so don't delay. Get your names in before the 9th of May cut-off date.
-           
-          In saying that, don't forget the two other days we have scheduled in May after closing day.
-           
-          13th of May visit to the Wanganui East Club
-          26th May the TeRaki Cup Challenge at Takaro.
-           
-          Numbers are limited for both these events so it would pay to get down to the Club and put your name up if you are interested.
