Hokowhitu Mixed Classic Results:
Last week many of our club players were involved in the above 3-day tournament.  Our team of Terry Johnson, Colin and Viv Lozell and Mere Fryer ended up a very creditable second overall to a Bev Budd team from Terrace End. Third place was also a team from Northern, made up of Bevan Hyde, Doug Hayward, Marlene Brown and Anne Corlett.

Quadrangular Tournament at Kapiti:
Congratulations to Julie Palmer, Anna Davis, Lynlea Rogers, Chrissy Quinn, Sue Way and Kay Hammond for representing Manawatu at Kapiti.  Good luck to you all.

Great Effort by Ray Lovie:
Congratulations to Ray Lovie from our club who skipped his Fours team to the final of the NZ National Fours in Wellington recently.  To reach the final of any tournament is a thrill, but to reach a NZ National final was outstanding.  Well done Ray.

Social Events:
It was great to see a good turn out of members in the clubrooms last Friday.  With numbers like this we will have another social evening on Friday 29 Jan with a music trivia evening based on the theme of Music/songs from the Movies.(5.30pm start).

Housie evenings have not been occurring recently because of numbers on Friday nights.  We will try again on Friday 5th Feb, 5.30pm.
